Intensive Mediation Training

Daniel Bowling and Dana Curtis team up to present this comprehensive mediation training with a unique blend of mediation theory, mediator skills and mediator personal qualities to guide participants in understanding their six-step approach to mediation. We welcome those with no previous mediation training or experience, as well as experienced mediators who wish to enhance their effectiveness. This course will also be useful for any attorney who represents clients in mediation to understand the mediation process and to be more effective in representing clients in mediation.

Forgiveness in Mediation
May 21, 2010; Sausalito, CA

Between 2000 and 2004, Fred Luskin, Dana Curtis and Steve Neustadter presented groundbreaking experiential forgiveness workshops for lawyers and mediators. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of their collaboration, Ms. Curtis and Dr. Luskin will lead a day-long retreat for previous participants who want to take their forgiveness studies to the next level - and for first-time participants who want to learn more about forgiveness.

Elder Mediation: A Guide for Practicing Mediators

Ms. Curtis and co-author Carolyn Rosenblatt are under contract with the American Bar Association to write Elder Mediation: A Guide for Practicing Mediators,which will be published by the ABA this July. Itwill be the first major book to be published on the subject of eldermediation.

Ms. Curtis recently completed the 2010 supplement to

Handbook of Geriatric Care Management

Ms. Curtis has been invited to contribute a new chapter on mediation for the 3rd edition of the Handbook of Geriatric Care Management, a textbook edited by Cathy Cress.
